Insurr is a free online resource for brokers to search, evaluate and enquire about speciality insurance. Insurr provides brokers with product details and documentation from an extensive number of speciality insurance providers in a standardized format for easy browsing and quick reference.

How much does Insurr cost?

Nothing, it’s completely free for brokers to search and for markets to list.

Why should I use Insurr? What are the benefits?

Relevant application forms, product brochures and supplemental forms are also listed and available for download on one convenient page.

How do I sign-up for Insurr?

You can subscribe to Insurr by visiting the Sign Up page and entering your basic personal information to create your profile.

How do I use Insurr?

Our easy to use keyword search brings up accurate and relevant policies based on your search terms. Alternatively you can search by insurance company with all of their policies listed underneath.

What information is listed on Insurr?

You can browse Insurr either through a keyword search to view insurance policy categories, or through our detailed company profiles with full program listings and company contacts

What is the best way to search? I am surprised to see certain products at the top, what determines the relevance?

The intuitive search is designed for brokers to search in a variety of ways but most importantly in plain English instead of strict industry classification jargon. The Insurr search keyword function is based on seven factors to determine a relevant match. The search is evaluating a keyword match on product title, company name, classification, target class, coverage area, product factsheet and an extensive thesaurus. Our thesaurus is being expanded daily and is designed to include terminology that is used by brokers and underwriters, as well as clients.

If the search is not returning the desired result, please contact a member of our admin team with your specific requirements and we will do our best to put you in touch with an appropriate provider. This also helps us improve our search function and thesaurus.

How can I filter my search results?

When performing a search from the homepage you have the choice of searching by product or by company. If you choose to search by product, after performing a search, on the left hand side of the page, you can then narrow your results further by choosing from the advanced search options:

  • location
  • line of business
  • minimum premium amount
  • maximum coverage required
  • deductible

You can also sort your search results by:

  • forms available
  • in-house underwriting ability

Where did the listed product documentation come from?

All product documentation available on the Insurr website is collected directly from the insurance provider and is kept in its original form.

How do I contact a company?

You can conveniently contact the insurance company directly using the orange enquiry button at the bottom of the product profile page. Every product listing is linked to an appropriate company contact and your enquiry directed there. If you do not receive a response within 24 hours, please let us know at [email protected] and we will follow-up with the company.

I do not see some products listed. Why?

Insurr is designed for brokers to gain access to complete product information. Product listings are free for companies however there is a minimum amount of information required in order for a listing to be accepted by Insurr. This information includes standard fields such as ‘target class’ and ‘coverage’ as well as product documentation in the form of fact sheets and application forms. Existing products that you do not see listed will be due to incomplete information on their submitted product profile.

How do I amend or update information on Insurr?

If you are from an insurance company and notice that there is a product offering not listed, or that the information within a product profile needs updating, please contact a member of our admin team.

How often are listings updated?

Unlike traditional print directories, product and company updates can be added and changed in real-time. Insurr has a dedicated research team and advanced auditing technology that are updating the database constantly. Every company and product webpage is automatically checked daily for changes and every product detail is checked at the granular level on a quarterly audit schedule.

What if I can’t find what I’m looking for?

If your search is not returning the desired result, please contact a member of our admin team with your specific requirements and we will do our best to put you in touch with an appropriate provider.

Is there a mobile app available for download?

Currently Insurr is not available as a mobile application. The site is responsive and is appropriate for use on your mobile, tablet or desktop browser. We will be developing an app in the coming months and will let you know as soon as it is ready.

What do I do if I forget my password?

If you have forgotten your password, please visit the Sign In page. Click ‘Forgotten Password?’ underneath the Sign In box. Next, enter your email address and click Submit. You will receive an email with a password reset link. Check your spam or junk folder if you do not see the email in your inbox.

How do I change my password?

You can change your password or any other personal details in your profile settings located on the top right hand corner of the page.

How do I change my email address?

If you need to update your email address or any other personal details, you can edit your details in your profile settings located on the top right hand corner of the page.

How do I delete my account?

If you no longer wish to have a profile on Insurr please contact a member of our admin team.
